won't want to miss the many fun things to do in the Pine Cone Ranch
area. Visit the shops in neighboring Minocqua, Tomahawk and Rhinelander,

and study the variety you'll see. Did you know there are eight different
soft pines and some 25 different hard pines? We have a fair share of
them at the ranch, plus we have willows, aspen, poplar, birch mulberry
and many others. You'll enjoy the variety of wild flowers and berries in our area.
Whether you are here in the spring for wild strawberries, or spend a
summer evening in a wild blueberry patch, the picking will be plentiful.
Late summer will offer raspberries and blackberries so don't miss a
single season of berry picking up north. Other popular varieties include
ground cherries, choke cherries and June berries. Wild mushrooms are
plentiful for the experienced picker. Nature provides a vast number of
special edibles and they are always ready for picking.
Finally, Pine Cone Ranch is birdwatcher's paradise. Prepare yourself to
be surprised and altogether charmed, because Wisconsin is a natural
